Living with Dementia by Peter Berry

This webinar will be presented by Peter Berry and accompanied by his friend Deb Bunt.  Peter was forced to give up work at the age of 50 after his diagnosis of early onset Dementia.  Peter will talk generally about his experience and the challenges he faced and continues to do so.  He has a real insight into his condition and speaks very openly and honestly about it.  He is a committed advocate of raising awareness of dementia and Peter has given talks at The Alzheimer’s Show and The Alzheimer’s Society as well as delivering countless presentations to local charities and organisations.  Peter will talk about the impact dementia has on the individual and their family but also the overarching need to live well with the condition.  Understandably, Peter’s talks are unstructured and ‘off the cuff’.

Peter is a keen cyclist and has raised over £20,000 for dementia charities through his cycling challenges.  Since the publication of “Slow Puncture” in September 2020, Peter has been invited to be the guest on many podcasts and has been on local television and radio and has a very active social media following.
