Press Release: SOLLA National Conference: Happy, Healthy, Wealthy, Wise - Helping the Boomers to Bloom

SOLLA (Society of Later Life Advisers) is once again hosting its National Conference at the Central Hall Westminster on the 11th October 2016, and are delighted to confirm that Honorary President, Lord David Lipsey, will be the Conference Chair.

Tish Hanifan, Founder and Chair of SOLLA says: “There is much to celebrate about the way in which good financial advice can make an enormous difference to the quality of an older person's life. Our conference highlights this and, through an assembled range of experts in the field of ageing and advice, focuses on the benefits of good financial advice to 'Baby Boomers' as they move into and through retirement. “

The Society are organising a full programme of expert speakers. Each will be sharing their knowledge and insights into the way that financial advisers can really help their clients to enjoy their retirement and later years.

Confirmed Speakers at the National Conference 2016 include:

Professor Keith Brown – Bournemouth University. Author of the Financial Scamming Guide and specialist adviser to the government on older people and financial abuse.

Professor Martin Green OBE – Chief Executive of Care England and Visiting Professor of Social Care to Buckinghamshire New University.

Bernie Hickman – L&G Managing Director of Individual Retirement, advocate for better Later Life Housing and innovation.

Vivienne Mann – Senior Associate, Ageing Population Strategy, FCA.

Michael Switsur – Strategy and Aging Society State Pension Policy, Department for Work and Pensions. Leading on the new State Pension introduced April 2016.
