Deferred Pass video submission

If you have received a Deferred Pass, and have been asked to submit a video recording, please follow these instructions: 

Content of video recording

Our guidelines for the content of your recording are as follows:

  • Please be sure to directly address the brief given by the LLAA Panel as part of your LLAA result
  • Using the client photo and name that you have been provided with, speak as you would to that client, making sure that your explanation is clear, concise, easy to understand and not overly technical or complicated
  • Be sure to demonstrate good soft skills
  • The video recording should be no longer than 3 minutes
  • Watch your video back once it is completed, to check that you are happy with it and that it has recorded correctly

Creating a video recording

You can record your video clip on your mobile phone, tablet, or via zoom. If you need to do this via zoom, here are some tips: 

  • Schedule a meeting, selecting to have the host video on 
  • Start the meeting, and ensure that your video camera is on (bottom right of screen) 
  • When you are ready to start, click Record (bottom right of the screen) - recording will continue until you press top at the top left of your screen 
  • When you have finished, click to end the meeting, and you will be given the option to save the recording in a location of your choice 

Submitting your video recording 

Please click on this link to upload your video clip. You can do this from your computer, phone or tablet. When you click on the link it will ask you to select the relevant file and then it will automatically upload it to our database.

What happens next…

Receipt of your recording will be acknowledged. It will then be assessed by an independent auditor and we will come back to you with feedback within two weeks of submission.
