What is Affiliate Membership?
Affiliate Membership is for those individuals or organisations who wish to act as ambassadors for SOLLA and support its aims.
Afiliate Membership is not available to individuals or organisations that offer regulated financial advice, or are in any way involved with the sale of unregulated financial products.
Affiliate Members must agree to refer/introduce consumers that require regulated financial advice only to SOLLA Later Life Accredited Advisers.
Affiliate Membership is available for two years, at which time renewal information will be sent.
At no time must an Affiliate Member hold themselves out as a full member of the society, or give the impression that they have achieved the Later Life Adviser Accreditation.
What are the benefits of Affiliate Membership?
As an Affiliate Members you will:
be able to use the SOLLA Affiliate logo for marketing purposes
receive regular newsletters, communications, information, press releases and updates about the Later Life Market, including industry and legislative updates, social care, health and welfare issues etc
have access to specific training courses on older client matters, at preferential membership rates
have access to local regional SOLLA networks and the LinkedIn discussion forum, giving technical information and support from peer group
have access to the members area of the SOLLA website, giving additional information about SOLLA, your membership,and other useful documents and information
How may I make reference to my Affiliate Membership with SOLLA?
You will be entitled to use the SOLLA logo which has the designation “Affiliate” clearly displayed.
Your details will not appear on the SOLLA website or be made available to the public, but you may openly state that you are an Affiliate Member of SOLLA.
As an Affiliate Member, you may provide a link to SOLLA website from your own web page(s).
Membership Requirements
Affiliate Members must inform SOLLA immediately if their circumstances change, specifically in any changes that may impact your eligibility for Affiliate Membership.
Termination of Membership
At the end of your Affiliate Membership, you are required to remove all references to your SOLLA Affiliate membership, or use of the SOLLA Affiliate logo, from literature, letterheads, brochures, email signatures, websites and other promotional and information material used in the conduct of your business within sixty days.
